Im So Pretty in Pink

Who said " black girls cant wear pink lipsticks" ? Well we can and im living proof. I went to Victorias Secret and played with a couple of glosses and lipsticks and a light bulb went off in my head to try a pink lipstick, what the hell. I tried two dark pinks and I wasnt so fond of them so I moved on to a baby pink color called "wish" and it was like the heavens opened up and all I could think of is that this is a universal pink. From the way it looks on my skin tone I can tell it will suite just about every dark skin complexion as well as fair. Its creamy with a bit of a matte finish so make sure you wear a lip primer because it does tend to move around abit and lose its color over time. But its beautiful and sexy and daring. I paired it along with a gloss from Bare Minerals and its absoutely fierce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

100% Natural Lipgloss

This is the 100% Natural Lip gloss brought to you by bare minerals. I purchased it from Sephora today as a gloss to put on top of the lipstick that I brought from Victorias Secret today. It matches really well and has a great feel. Its totally different from the Buxom lips line. This is more creamy and doesn't have as much shine as Buxom. Because I needed this to put over my VS Lipstick I love it but I have to admit that I miss the cooling plumping affect of buxom. But all day the 100% Natural Lip gloss has been keeping my lips hydrated which is a good sign since its starting to get cold and my lips tend to dry out. It comes out pretty sheer on my bare lips so I'll almost always be wearing this over a lipstick.

PZI Jeans baby

Three summers ago I was introduced at a Buyers show to PZI Jeans. Unfortunetly over the years my weight has yo-yo'd up and down and PZI became just a memory but I'm thinking about them now. Let me fill you in. PZI is an Atlanta based company and they specialize in creating jean for women of color and their unique shapes. Many black women are shaped with smaller waist, fuller hips and curvy butts. For these reasons we have harder time finding jeans since most company cater to one body type. PZI Jeans are the truth, they range from size 4 to 18 and cater to short long and extra long legs!! I wish they sold higher sizes because I know some women that can really benefit from having these jeans. I tried a pair and I love them. Even the short was a little to long for me but I have to say the fit around the waist and hips are wondeful. The cost for these jeans start at 75.00 and up but they are worth it. I brought mine from Macys department store but they are sold else where too. These jeans really make women with curves look hot with styles that normally thicker women couldn't wear like skinny, and bootcut. Please invest in these jeans. Not too many designers are catering to the curvy body type.

Coastal Scents 88 shimmer palette

Here is what I know about this palette thus far. Its made by coastal scents, go to there website and you will find tons of great things for your skin, body and cosmetic needs. But I'm here to talk about the palette not the website so here we go. The Shimmer palette is what they are calling it. It contains 88 vibrant colors and are finished with a hint of shimmer (hint.. the name.) They make that same 88 color palette in a matte finish as well as a warm palette, colors with more brown tones. But with some of the reviews I have read more people are crazy for the Shimmer palette. I had a chance to play around and swatch a few colors and I have to say that I am impressed. The colors were nice and the selection of them were big. It could of went on a little smoother but the fact that it doesn't crease made up for that!! I can see why people prefer the Shimmer over the matte. Like I said the colors were just okay so it would be better to have it in shimmer just to give it more life. This blog is definitely dedicated to those who don't Care how great MAC is and will never pay $11.00 for one shadow! And the reason I say that is because this palette only cost $19.95 form the coastal scents website, what a bargain. my conclusion for this topic is to buy the palette, it's Definitely no MAC but its good stuff and I'll definitely being ordering mine this week!!!

M.A.C. Eyeshadows

Okay, here's the deal. I'm a complete Sephora junkie but i really happen to like M.A.C. eyeshadow. I've been using them for about 2 years and I have to admit that there colors and quality are the best. Are they pricey yes, running about $11.00 a shadow but the quality is great. They are highly pigmented and have a variety of finishes and even better than that they have cool names. Some of my favorite shadows that I currently own are Aquadisiac, Vapour, Strike a pose, Bisque and Cranberry. I like that they go on very smooth and don't have a lot of fallout compared to drug store brands or even my beloved Sephora :( But the color really pops and longevity of it is great. Going back to prices their shadows are expensive so my suggestion is to invest in there palettes and buy refill pans of your favorite colors which knock the price for shadow down to about $8.00 per pan. I know personally that I have tried several other eyeshadow which were great as well but I end up wishing I had spent my money on MAC eyeshadow instead. The colors are outrageously brilliant.

I'ts my party!!!

Hey Guys i'm really excited because as some of you may and may not know my birthday is coming!!! December 31st to be exact. I never really make a big deal of my birthday but this year i'm really in the mood to really do it big. So I did some brainstorming and I'm leaning toward having a Tiffany & Co. Inspired party. I've always been crazy for jewelry so of course Tiffany was at the top of my list. But I've also been doing a lot of positive with my life and chasing my goals so I figure that if I'm gonna reach diamond status why not have a diamond party. So far I have a few cake ideas so please let me know what you think. Im thinking of holding it in a nice lounge and inviting 35 people. Something intimate not too too out there. So now in the upcoming weeks i'll be looking for a venue because you have to book early and i'll keep you guys updated . xoxoxo

Purity

OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I am really starting to have a crush on Philosophy skin care products. Every time I purchase something from them I am Satisfied and more and more amazed by the quality of product. So today I was roaming around34th street herald square looking like a lost child when I bumped into the Sephora store. So I went in with Philosophy in mind and I looked for a product in their line called Purity. Everyone that I look to when it comes to cosmetics and skincare have been absolutely taken away and are always recommending it to me.

Problem: I tend to get small breakouts from the regular makeup remover.

Solution: Philosophy Purity

Description: A highly-effective one-step facial cleanser. What it is formulated to do:Philosophy Purity Made Simple is a ph-balanced formula that rapidly dissolves dirt and makeup while deep cleaning pores. The best-selling cleanser contains infusions of sage, chamomile, and carrot. What else you need to know: Purity Made Simple is part of a collection of Philosophy products designed to soothe even the most dry and sensitive skin.

My opinion: I give it two thumbs up, its wonderful. I used a little bit that went a long way. It took all of my makeup off with no trouble. Even mascara! And for makeup users you know just how frustrating that can be sometimes. It smells good and I feel the difference already. For the price, the quality is outstanding I purchased a 8oz. bottle for $20.

If highly recommend this product along with hope in a jar (moisturizer) and many of their so good I just wanna eat it Body washes.
